Mission Statement

At Pacific Piano Supply Company, we are dedicated to creating music, through the maintenance and restoration of fine pianos, and continuing innovation in the keyboard industry.

Pacific Piano Supply Co. was founded in 1946 by W. Don Morton. After serving in the Navy from 1942 to 1946, Don returned to Los Angeles and saw a need for a Piano Parts Supplier on the west coast. The Suppliers for piano parts at that time were all located on the eastern seaboard.

In 1961 Pacific Piano moved to North Hollywood where we had a store on Vanowen St. for 33 years. We moved to Van Nuys in 1994, where we stayed until moving to our current location in Chatsworth, CA in 2001. Don Morton continued to work on pianos until he passed in 2011.

Pacific Piano Supply is currently owned and operated by Don Morton’s sons Randy and Robert, and his grandson Charles. At the age of 72 years, Pacific Piano Supply is the oldest piano supply house in the USA.

Pacific Piano Supply Co. is the exclusive USA distributor of TOKIWA action parts

Working with our staff here in California, the Hamamatsu factory produces world-class reproductions of action parts for most vintage pianos made in the USA in the “golden-age” of piano manufacturing before 1940. These quality parts make possible the full restoration of these fine heirloom instruments.
